I fell in love with India the first moment my feet touched the ground. The colors, spicy aromas, the swirl of smiling humanity and of course the intricate architecture and fine fabrics. I went back 5 more times! When an eastern couple living in Tucson contacted me to paint Krishna on an 8 foot Masonite board I was delighted. They handed me a rendition of Krishna as a child. Too juvenile for that majestic Being! So I showed them a mature rendition and had an easy agreement immediately.

The idea was to have the installation travel with them should they ever move. In later years I learned that Krishna did move with the family into a new setting, but with second move the board was left behind and no one knows what happened to Krishna. If you do, please let me know!
